Product Strength: The ATN MO4-1 Night Vision Monocular Scope can be used in the darkest nights. It has good precision which gives brighter and sharper images. Uses ATN’s "Smart Technology" which saves on battery life by automatically turning the monocular on when you raise it to your eye and then turning it off when you lower it back down. Has a variety if tube configurations to choose from.
Product Weakness: When actually using the focus seemed rather narrow. Maintaining an acceptable view while panning was difficult unless you do it very slowly. Fisheye effect seemed a little more pronounced than other models.
Personal Comment: The Gen1 version of the ATN MO4 is adequate as a beginner night vision monocular but there are better available if you are more serious about the picture quality and cost is not a big issue. Consider looking at ATN’s Gen2, Gen3, and Gen4 models or try a different manufacturer for something comparable.
